What Does a Public Adjuster Do?

When you file a claim, your homeowners insurance company will assign a claims adjuster to evaluate your property damage and determine a fair payout based on your policy coverage at the time of loss. However, instead of relying on the insurance company's adjuster, some policyholders choose to hire their own public adjuster.

A public adjuster performs similar duties as a claims adjuster: assessing the damage to your property, determining the scope of repairs, and estimating replacement costs. The key difference is that a public adjuster works for you, not the insurance company.

After your homeowners insurance company issues the settlement, the public adjuster receives a percentage of the claim as their fee. (Each State has different % a PA can charge)

It is important to note that insurers do not consider the adjuster's fee when determining the claims payout amount. This fee is paid by the homeowner who hired the public adjuster.

We will review your policy and ensure your damages are fairly compensated for covered losses.

Don't battle the insurance companies alone. You need a public adjuster to handle the claims negotiations from start to finish. Contractors can not help you negotiate the insurance claims. This would be a violation of UPPA (Unlicensed Practice of Public Adjusting).

There is no risk to you. If we utilize all remedies under your policy and do not secure a recovery from your insurance company, there is no charge for our services.
